Many buyers want to know how much their monthly costs of utilities will be in their new home. It is a good idea to get the information ahead of time and leave a document at the kitchen table with the various utilities, and costs involved with each of them. You should contact each of your utilities and get historical data for each month over the last year. If you are on a budget plan, please don’t report those numbers. Get the actual data from the utility companies.
