Rose Township was aptly named after Issac Rose when he arrived in the area around 1850. Roseville itself was incorporated in 1948 due to tremendous growth during that timeframe.
Transportation
Roseville has great access to the freeway system in the Twin Cities. It is situated with Highway 36 running East-West through the Southern portion of the city. Also, I-35W runs on the Western edge of the city. Both freeways give great access to both downtowns, with Downtown Minneapolis only 12 minutes away, and Downtown St Paul only 14 minutes away.
Real Estate
Roseville has a mix of houses mostly ranging from 1950’s to 1980’s. The styles would include Ranch (rambler), Split Entry, 3 or 4 level splits, and 2 story homes.
